23rd Annual VTLS Users' Group Program 2010

Additional Information

I. Seminar Objectives
These seminars are designed to show the latest trends for software development, foster sharing of knowledge to cover several topics related to library needs.  Our hope is to introduce new concepts and ideas to get customer interactions for each seminar.
II. Registration Details

Participants may choose to register for both the Seminars and Users' Group Meeting (Days 1 to 3, April 28th to 30th) or only for the Users' Group Meeting (Days 2 and 3, April 29th to 30th).

Registration is available online at http://vug.vtls.com. You have the option to pay with credit card or check.

A table will be set up in the Gallery at Winterthur for you to pick up your registration packet, nametags and other related items.

Please Note: *The last day to regsiter for the Users' Group Meeting is April 16, 2010.
The last day to cancel registration with an 80% refund is April 1, 2010.

*No refunds will be given after April 1, 2010

III. Seminar Registration will be $100 per person.

Please Note: The following discounts apply when more than 2 participants from the same institution register for the seminars. To receive the best discount, we recommend that you register all participants from your institution site at the time.

    1. For the first two participants, the fee will be $100 each.
    2. The third participant will be $90.
    3. For any library that registers four or more participants, the pricing will be $100 for the first two, $90 for the third, and $80 for each additional participant.
  • Early Registration - The first 10% of the institutions that register by January 22, 2010 will be put into a drawing for a chance to receive ONE of the following:
    1. Receive $500 discount on Installation for Chamo to be used in 2010.
    2. Receive $500 discount on Installation for VITAL to be used in 2010.
  • For all Customers, that register 3 or more persons - You have the option to choose ONE from the following below:
    1. All upgrades free for year 2010.
    2. To recognize our 25yrs of Success, you have the option to receive 25 Extra Hours of our Dedicated Support to be used within a 12-month period.
IV. User Group Meeting Registration Fee

The User Group Meeting Registration will be $125 per person.

V. Seminar Venue

The event will be held at the Winterthur Museum located in Winterthur, Delaware.

VI. Dress Code

The dress code for this program is casual for the Seminars and Meeting.

VII. Email

Attendees may use one of the public computers located in the library at Winterthur for checking their email.

VIII. Directions

Winterthur is located on Rte. 52 in Delaware.

Travel Times:

  • From Philadelphia: 40 minutes
  • From Baltimore: 1 hour
  • From Washington: 2 hours
  • From New York City: 2.25 hours

Participants are responsible for making their own accommodations and are advised to confirm their accommodations before arrival.

X. Transportation

Winterthur recommends if you are flying in you should go to the Philadelphia International Airport.
For those not renting a car, Delaware Express Shuttle is recommended.
Delaware Express offers door-to-door service, airport to destination service.
These reservations should be made ahead of time.

XI. Meals

Customers may do as they please during the lunch hour.  VTLS strongly suggests you visit the Cafeteria at Winterthur as they have fine selections.  Light Refreshments ll be provided during the morning and afternoon breaks, compliments of Winterthur, for Thursday and Friday. For the Wednesday morning and afternoon breaks, Winterthur has a Snack area for customers to use if they choose. Light Refreshments will not be provided Wednesday.

VTLS Reception arrangements will be communicated during the program. The menu is provided in the Program Schedule.
